our mission:
Pain Relief, Long-Term Change and Conservative care first
The goal isn’t just to “feel better for now.” It’s to help you understand your body, improve how you move, and give you the tools to stay active for years.
Whether you’re trying to get out of pain, return to your favorite activity, or staying ahead of an injury, the focus is always long-term results that last.
We believe every patient deserves individualized, 1-on-1, uninterrupted treatment that accelerates their recovery and amplifies performance.
With no rushed visits and no insurance limitations, we can treat our patients the way that best fits their needs and goals.
What makes us different?
More time. More attention. Better results.
Physical therapy can often feel rushed, impersonal, and focused on short-term relief. Here, every session is designed to fully understand your root cause of pain and address it at its core through an individualized plan.
1-on-1 Care Every Visit
No overlapping patients. Just focused, uninterrupted time with your provider.
Longer Visits
Enough time to properly assess, treat, and progress. No rushed appointments.
Hands-on Treatment + Movement Training
A combination of manual therapy and personalized movement training to restore how you feel and move.
Recovery + Long-term Focus
Focusing on pain relief and a long-term plan that prevents pain from returning.
Meet your physical therapist
Braden kizer, DPT
Hi, I’m Braden Kizer, DPT. I started Kizer Physical Therapy in Lincoln because I believe good care needs time. Too often, patients get a few rushed minutes and a sheet of exercises. I wanted to build a practice where you get a full hour to be heard, a thorough assessment, and a plan that makes sense for you.
I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy trained at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, with a focus on orthopedic, evidence-based rehab and hands-on therapy. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Hastings College, where I was also a member of the men’s basketball team. Outside the clinic, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including recreational sports, golf, and other outdoor activities. I’m happy to work with anyone from weekend athletes to people simply trying to move without pain.

Frequently Asked Questions.
-
Your 60-minute evaluation starts with a conversation about your history and goals, followed by a movement assessment and hands-on exam. You will leave with a clear plan and often some initial treatment.
-
Time and attention. Every visit is 1-on-1 with your physical therapist, with no overlapping patients. Your evaluation is 60 minutes and follow-ups are 50, so there’s room to find the root cause of your pain, treat it hands-on, and build a plan around your goals.
Because I’m not working around insurance limits, your care is based on what you need, not what a payer will cover.
-
I don’t bill insurance directly. I can provide a detailed receipt you may be able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on you plan. Reimbursement is not guaranteed, so I recommend checking with your insurer.
-
In most cases, yes. Physical therapy is generally an eligible expense, but confirm with your plan administrator.
-
No. Because we are cash-based, you can book directly with me, with no physician’s referral required. Nebraska allows patients to see a physical therapist without one, so you can schedule a free consultation or evaluation whenever you are ready. If your evaluation shows something that needs a physician’s attention, I’ll tell you and point you to the right provider.
-
Without insurance dictating visit length and frequency, I can give you longer, 1-on-1 sessions and build your plan around your needs and goals instead of what a payer will cover.
-
It depends on your condition, how long it’s been going on, and your goals. Most people do best with a plan of care that is individualized to their condition and goals. After your evaluation, I’ll recommend a plan and walk you through exactly what it includes and costs, so you know the full picture up front. Plans are priced at a lower per-visit rate than individual sessions, and there are no surprise bills along the way. If you’d rather start smaller, individual visits are always available. Your plan is a roadmap, not a contract, and we’ll adjust as you progress.
-
Comfortable clothes you can move in. If you have imaging, surgical notes, or a list of medications, bring them, but they aren’t required.
